Leamon Green is an American visual artist who works in different types of media. Green was born in 1959 in the town of Anniston, Alabama. His education includes a Master of Fine Arts at Temple University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Cleveland Institute of Art〔("Leamon Green" ), Print Matters, Houston, Texas.〕 and a Studio Arts Degree from Concord College. In 2007, he was awarded the Fulbright award to travel to Tanzania,〔(Texas Southern Professor Awarded Fulbright" ), Texas Southern University.〕 where he lived and taught for a year. He is currently an associate professor of the fine arts department at Texas Southern University in Houston.
